- Description
- Gwernydd Hall is a five star holiday home park in the magical heartland of Mid Wales. This superbly run park is set in over 25 acres in an area of contrasting and beautiful landscapes, sweeping hillsides, sparkling lakes and teeming rivers, all combining to create a region you will want to discover.
On the park is a fabulous bar and restaurant with a private patio area, snooker room, pool and games room. There is also a bowling green, children's playground, football field, dog exercise area and laundry. There is a stretch of bubbling river and two fishing pools for you to enjoy.
Set back in the hills between the pretty market town of Welshpool and bustling Newtown, the park is an oasis of calm and tranquillity, but still within easy reach of the Midlands.
We are justifiably proud of the immaculate state of our park, with beautifully tended grounds filled with well established planting, trees and flowers.
Sit outside the Gwernydd Arms (our very own quiet pub) on a summers evening and watch the action on our bowling green or enjoy a meal with the family in our fabulous restaurant. - Tourist Attractions
- Gwernydd Hall is situated in rolling hills between Welshpool and Newtown. There is always something to do, be it shopping in Welshpool, Newtown or Shrewsbury, a ride on the Welshpool to Llanfair light railway (one of the great little trains of Wales) or a visit to the magnificent Powis Castle (which often welcomes Prince Charles as a guest in summer) to name but a few. There are many local walks, wildlife in abundance, golf, cycling, canoeing and riding.
- Directions
- From Welshpool take A483 Newtown road, turn right onto B4390 to Berriw. Follow road until you reach New Mills. Leave village, take first right, follow signs for Gwernydd Hall.
