- Description
- Twice voted Park of the Year by readers of Camping Magazine
We are only 1.5 miles from St Ives, quaint, pretty and bustling, with lovely golden beaches and shops, but we offer a haven of tranquillity between bracken covered hills, fields and heather-clad cliffs and turquoise blue sea. We hope you will walk our Farm Trail and enjoy the magnificent scenery along the coast path. Guests tell us that the park has a peaceful, friendly atmosphere, and we do all we can to offer advice to help you make the most of your holiday. - Tourist Attractions
- Walking in Penwith is full of excitement and adventure - Imagine golden sandy coves, crashing waves, hills with huge granite boulders and gorse, and wild flowers all around you. There are derelict tin mines, ancient stone circles and Neolithic standing stones - West Cornwall has them all! Land's End, St. Michael's Mount, Lamorna Cove, Porthcurno and Mousehole are all just a short journey from Trevalgan, and we have lots of information to help you find your way around.
We hope you will walk our marked farm trail and look for foxes, badgers, rabbits and even slow worms, frogs and newts. Admire the abundance of wild flowers, hear the birds and watch the butterflies as the trails guides you on to the Cornish coastal footpath with its breathtaking views.
If you walk to the village of Zennor you might even catch a glimpse of the fabled mermaid. Or walk into quaint, bustling St. Ives to visit the Tate Gallery, artists' studios, charming shops, character pubs, fish restaurants, tea rooms and lots more. Porthmeor surfing beach, or Porthminster beach are close to us and claim some of the bluest, cleanest waters in the country. - Directions
