- Ideally located just 2 miles east of Brighton, snuggled into a fold in the South Downs, a short distance inland from the Marina and adjacent to extensive recreation grounds. The Marina offers a lively nautical atmosphere and the town itself is easily reached from here by bus or by the Volks historic railway along the prom. You could of course take the car, but beware of parking problems! Brighton is a lively town with all the usual attractions of a seaside holiday resort: the shopping is good, The Lanes has unusual boutiques and antiques, and the seafront is a classic of its kind with the Pier still operating (do try the fish & chips there!). In short, there is lots on hand for the whole family, whatever your interests, and Sheepcote Valley is the ideal base from which to enjoy it.
