Description
The prestige of Silver Ridge owes as much to those features it doesn't offer, as to those it does. For example, you will find no touring caravans, no tents and no holiday homes for hire. The park does not have any clubs, bars or night-life.

In fact there is nothing to detract from the peaceful atmosphere and pure, unspoilt beauty of this exclusive and unique park.

The whole ethos of Silver Ridge is to provide you with a lifestyle of comfort and quality in total empathy with the beautiful natural surroundings. The park has more than 130 luxury holiday homes and a small number of log cabins. All accommodation is of the highest standard and served with the grandeur of the park's picturesque location.
Tourist Attractions
Beyond the outstanding natural beauty of the park itself there is so much more to see and do. The convenient location of Silver Ridge puts you within a
20-minute drive of the breathtaking scenery and many other attractions of the Lake District. Kendal is 10 miles away, Carnforth 6 miles, the seaside atmosphere of Morecambe 13 miles, and the city of Lancaster is just 12 miles away. There's a delightful 12-hole golf course nearby. The rugged beauty of Leighton Moss nature reserve covers more than 300 acres, and there's a foreshore of over 4000 acres close by. Of the 250 or so species of birds recorded here, some 75 regularly breed in the RSPB sanctuary.

At Arnside, the 250ft Arnside Knot rises above the village and overlooks the River Kent to Grange-over-Sands. Ancient monuments, historic houses, glorious gardens, ruined castles, interesting folk museums and colourful craft centres abound throughout this delightful area at the foot of the legendary Lake District.

Directions
Travelling from the North or South on the M6, exit at junction 35. At the roundabout take the A6 North signposted Kendal/Milnthorpe. Continue on the A6 for approximately 3 miles and after passing the Water Garden Restaurant and the Esso petrol station, take the second left turn (next to Hale Garage). Follow the lane until you find Silver Ridge Park on your right hand side.
