Description
If you want peace, quiet, and comfort in a spacious, informally landscaped layout, all in a stunning location, this could be the park for you.

Burgh Castle Marina is set in a beautiful conservation area spread out over 26 acres

We are re-developing our family owned park to provide the highest quality of holiday homes in a choice of 12’ and 20’ wide (holiday caravans and lodge) configurations in their own separate areas, some of them with stunning river or castle views. Our homes are strictly reserved for private owners, who do not wish to commercially sub-let their properties and who wish to form a community with like-minded neighbours, supported by a friendly park staff all year round.

Because we want to get it exactly right, our redevelopment is being phased by zones over several years, with most development work restricted to the winter season so that we do not disturb the peace and enjoyment of existing home owners. The first zones are already being occupied (a few views are left). We want each home to be a getaway with every comfort and convenience, to be used and enjoyed in all the seasons and so we are now working on plans to add piped gas and broadband internet connections for each unit. We already have over 200 species of trees and flowering shrubs on the park, as well as wild and cultivated flowers which brings us lots of wildlife, but we shall go on adding more, so that all holiday homes continue to enjoy a relaxed and peaceful outlook. As our plots fill up, we shall move on to upgrade our existing amenities (subject to planning consent),

The units themselves

We want the best units possible to complement our facilities and wonderful setting and for owners to enjoy using throughout our eleven months season. We recommend double-glazing and central heating. We insist on a fully fitted Sheerline skirt (for appearances, extra tidy storage and even more insulation) and nearly all our standard price listed models include these items in the price on handover. If you have a favourite from a particular manufacturer’s model range, we are happy to quote you a sited price for it. The only extras after you have bought your home from us are annual pitch rent and insurance, plus the electricity and gas which you use.

So if you like what we’re doing, come and have a look for yourself.
Tourist Attractions
There's plenty to do close by. Three local golf courses, a horse sanctuary, regular falconry and other displays and events at Fritton Lake, miles of sandy beaches and the twin seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth and Gorleston are all within ten to fifteen minutes drive.

Slightly further afield are picturesque old market towns such as Beccles and Loddon, the fine city of Norwich, with its wonderful cathedral, a wealth of other historical buildings, museums, art galleries, theatres, sophisticated restaurants and shopping and the rest of the Broadland National Park, with its numerous Broads, riverside inns, craft centres and nature reserves. From heritage trails to zoos in fine weather or on rainy days, there's enough to keep you busy for years and our Explorer leaflets can help you find your way.
Directions
Approach Burgh Castle from the A143 Beccles to Great Yarmouth road, approximately 2 miles south west of the A12 intersection with the A143. (Grid Reference: 500 031). Follow the brown Marina signposts initially to Belton, turning right after ¾ mile (sign-posted Burgh Castle). Continue straight on for one mile. Our park entrance is on the left.
