- This beautiful family run park is set in Dartmoor National Park beside the River Tavy offering riverside and other spacious, level pitches. Luxury self-catering caravan holiday homes - open all year. Ideally situated for exploring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall and their spectacular beaches or enjoying the relaxed ambience of this beautiful park. Celebrating our 21st year in 2006 and the David Bellamy Conservation Gold Award for 8 consecutive years.

The ancient stannery town of Tavistock, birthplace of Sir Francis Drake, is within two miles and provides excellent shopping, the famous indoor pannier market, an indoor pool and leisure centre, the Wharf Theatre and cinema, and of course bowls.
The National Trust properties of Lydford Gorge, Buckland Abbey, Saltram, Cotehele House and Quay, and the industrial working museum at Morwellham Quay and Mine are all within easy reach.
Plymouth with the world famous Hoe, Theatre Royal, the National Marine Aquarium, Barbican and boat trips from the beautiful Plymouth Sound waterfront.
The reservoirs of Meldon, Burrator and Roadford lie close by among the moorland hills, and Princetown, home of the notorious prison and award winning High Moorland Visitor Centre, crowns the Moor some six miles away.
- Directions
- Leave the M5 from Bristol at Junction 31 (after Exeter). Take the A30 by-pass and leave this at the next junction beyond Okehampton onto the A386. We are 10 miles from this point - Peter Tavy turning.
From Plymouth follow the A386 through Tavistock heading towards Okehampton. After two miles turn right for Peter Tavy, and you will see the park entrance on the right-hand side.See also: MultiMap
