Description
Lying in the heart of the Usk valley, at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, Gilestone is a 300-acre arable and beef farm.
We have private access to the Breconshire Canal, the river Usk, and we are just a 5-minute walk away from 4 very famous public houses- The White Hart Inn, The Star Inn, The Travellers Rest, and the Usk Hotel.

Our new park caters for touring caravans (winter storage provided if required), motor homes, tents- large parties welcome, we can offer horse B+B, and welcome pets. Ready-erected tents are available to hire, fishing on the river Usk is also available for hire.

Gilestone is also a unique venue for large parties,we are able to hire you our large party marquee,arrange for a mobile bar to be on site[notice is needed for licence live entertainment can be booked . weather you are a pony club,motorcycle club, scouts group, stag weekend or any large group wanting a unique holiday tailor made to suit you needs,look no further,gilestone can do it for you.

We can also offer a large area to have tour camp fire while seated on old tree trunks and enjoying the panoramic views over the beacons and the usk valley.

The Caravan Park and the Tenting Park are on two separate but interlinked sites, both with panoramic views of the Usk valley, all with excellent access and level pitches.

The Brecon Beacons has become the first national park in the UK to be given Geopark status by the UN cultural and scientific body.

There are a wealth of activities on offer including mountain biking, pony trecking, climbing, watersports, fishing and much much more! there are also two play barns for the youngsters in wet weather.

There interesting and characterful towns nearby and pleanty of historic buildings just a short car drive away.
