- Shrewsbury
is one of the country's most picturesque market towns, situated within the loop of the River Severn. Its outstanding location, ancient bridges and medieval architecture combine with excellent shopping facilities to create the ideal tourist attraction and centre for sightseeing.
The Ironbridge Gorge Museums
centred in the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution is acclaimed as one of the classical historical and archaeological centres of the world. The multi-site museum includes the Blists Hill Living Museum - well worth a visit for a taste of old Victorian England.
Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway
an enchanting narrow gauge train which gently travels across delightful scenery from Welshpool to Llanfair throughout the summer season. A favourite with families and train buffs alike.
Acton Scott Historic Working Farm
Acton Scott is one of Britain's leading working farm museums and specialises in practical demonstrations of historic farming using traditional skills and period horse-drawn machines.
Welsh Borders Castles
this area has some splendid examples. Powis Castle, just over the Welsh Border has outstanding gardens. Ludlow Castle stands high on the banks of the River Teme and plays host to dramatic performances of Shakespeare plays at the town's celebrated annual festival.
Shrewsbury Flower Show
This world famous event is held in Shrewsbury's riverside park every August and provides horticultural delights and entertainment complete with breathtaking firework displays.
Shrewsbury Park & Ride
A unique benefit for all those staying at the Oxon Hall Touring Park is the excellent adjacent Park & Ride service - a cheap and convenient way of visiting the town centre. Buses run every 10-15 minutes (exception Sundays) and it couldn't be easier since the Park & Ride is accessed by a pedestrian wicket gate from the Caravan Park entrance driveway.

- The Park is located just off the A458 Welshpool road on the North-western side of Shrewsbury.
Follow the signs for the Oxon Park and ride from the Welshpool island on the A5 Shrewsbury by-pass.
This is the point that crosses the A458 Welshpool Road.
The entrance to the park is a quarter of a mile towards the town centre just past the Welsh Harp public house.See also: MultiMap
