- Description
- You can always be assured of a warm welcome when you visit Capel Court Park - the first time and every time. Close to the top of the "White Cliffs", but in a private and sheltered position, the park is in an ideal location for either permanent living or an easily reached second home. This friendly park is on the edge of the pleasant village of Capel-le-Ferne on the south Kent coast, two miles from Folkestone. The harbour area and the adjacent waterfront is undergoing a major re-development over the next 7 years, which will make Folkestone one of the premier south coast towns.
The park is surrounded by lovely views across the Channel, with many footpaths over the cliffs, along the seashore, or away from it all across the Downs. We normally have a small selection of new and used caravans for sale in varying price ranges. - Other facilities
- We have a boules pitch at the park for the use of caravan and park home owners. One small/medium sized dog is welcome but must be kept on a leash and exercised off the Park.
- Other recreation
- Adjacent to the park is the Lighthouse Restaurant overlooking the Channel, whilst a few minutes walk along the cliff path is the Cliff Top Cafe - a really pleasant spot for your morning coffee. There are numerous comfortable pubs/restaurants in the surrounding villages and in the nearby towns of Folkestone and Dover. We have a Petanque (Boules) pitch at Capel Court Park where you can enjoy a friendly relaxing game and we are planning a putting green.
- Tourist Attractions
- Capel Court Park is convenient for the Channel Tunnel and the ports for day trips and short breaks and for visiting coastal and inland Kent and Sussex. It is easily accessed from the Home Counties via the M20.
In the local area are many places of interest, lovely countryside and entertainment including theatre, cinema and concerts; horse racing and motor racing; and many sports including bowls, golf and fishing. - From the M20 at Folkestone, continue onto the A20 then exit at Court Wood via the B2011 to Capel-le-Ferne; the park is 1/2 mile on the left.
