- The town of Craven Arms lies on the A49 some 20 miles south of Shrewsbury & 9 miles North of Ludlow.
From Craven Arms turn off at Craven Arms Hotel (B4368), signposted Clun.
At Long Meadowend turn left onto the B4367 & follow the brown tourist signs for Ashlea Pools Country Park to the village of Hopton Heath.
