Stonehenge is close by, and Salisbury Cathedral and the National Trust village of Lacock, are within easy reach. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its magnificent displays of trees and shrubs, makes a wonderful day trip. Postern Hill is ideal for those who enjoy leisurely strolls on gentle, flat forest trails and like to have plenty to do and see nearby.
NOTE: AS THIS SITE NO LONGER HAS TOILET FACILITIES, EACH UNIT MUST HAVE ITS OWN.
Directions
The site is located at the northern end of Savernake Forest, 1 mile south of Marlborough on the A346 towards Tidworth. Junction 15 on the M4 is just 10 miles away.
