Ayr Racecourse - Has regular fixtures throughout the year. For a great day out visit in April for the 2008 Scottish Grand National.

Isle of Arran – A haven for walkers and climbers, take a boat trip from Adrossan and enjoy some great outdoor activities.

- From Glasgow, take the M77 and A77 towards Kilmarnock. At Kilmarnock take the A71 towards Irvine. Follow signs to Irvine to pick up the signs for Ardrossan. Join the A78 and follow the signs for Stevenston. Go through Stevenson, past the Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, then take the first left and follow the signs towards Sandylands Holiday Park, which is located on the left.
