Waterrow Touring Park was nominated Top Independent Park in the UK for 2007 at the MMM Awards on 7th December 2006. Parks are nominated by the readers of the magazine, shortlisted and then visited by a member of the judging panel. Waterrow Touring Park was one of ten short listed Parks and was presented with their award by Tom O'Connor at a glittering gala dinner at the Hilton Metropole, NEC .
Situated close to Exmoor and the Somerset / Devon border in the Brendon Hills, this landscaped touring park offers spacious pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Waterrow Touring Park is a private nature reserve with a woodland area being registered as a Somerset Country Wildlife site.
Painting holidays with expert tuition available on site.also fly fishing tuition.
There is a woodland river walk, separate dog walking field, and a country pub nearby.
Luxury new 36'x12' holiday home, situated adjacent to the Park with lovely views across the valley. It is fully equippped with sitting/dining area, adjacent kitchen, one double with ensuite, one twin bedroom and shower room, sleeping a maximum of four adults. The luxury specificiation includes double glazing and comfort heating. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The holiday home is available for weekly or off-peak short breaks. - Leave the M5 at Junction 25 (Taunton). Follow the A358 (signposted Minehead) around Taunton and then take the B3227 (former A361 scenic route to North Devon) - signposted Wiveliscombe, Barnstaple. At Wiveliscombe cross straight over traffic lights towards Waterrow (3 mls). The park is on the left after passing The Rock Inn.
