- Hogbarn is based in the heart of Kent's Garden of England not far from Leeds Castle where Kings and Statesmen have trodden the floors of this beautiful lakebound castle whose history goes back over a thousand years. Maidstone, just a few miles distant, is Kents County Town beside the Medway with tranquil riverside heart, fine greystone medieval buildings which includes a 14th Century Archbishops Palace where old stables house antique carriages.
The whole area is full of a variety of visitor attractions to please all. - Directions
- From the west on the M20, come off at junction eight and follow the signs for the A20 Harrietsham and Lenham. Continue along this road past Leeds Castle and after some distance (ignore the sign to Harrietsham Village) you will pass the village and on the right will be some modern ‘Oast’ houses. Continue on for another 150 metres and on your left is Church Road (before the bridge) where you turn left. Follow this road to the church turning left, after which it becomes Stede Hill, continue on to the fork in the road where you go right into Hogbarn Lane, soon after which the park entrance is on your right.
