Description
Un-commercialised family run park in a unique location on the West coast of the Kintyre Peninsula Scotland, offering unobstructed views of the Atlantic and isles of Islay, Jura and Gigha.

Touring Park beside the Atlantic with 10 pitches, with hook-up facilities if required, just a couple of steps and you are onto the beach.

Four Caravan Holiday Homes for hire, non smoking with the one and two bedroom caravans accepting pets, with unobstructed views of beach and isles.

There is also an apartment which is pet free and non smoking, with unobstructed views of Isles, wildlife, beach and Atlantic.

The whole area offers plenty of opportunity to spot wildlife such as dolphins, seals, cormorants, oyster catchers, gulls, herons, swans, buzzards and sea otters.

Glorious sunsets can be seen from every Caravan Holiday Home or Tourer/Motor Home/Tent (weather permitting).

FOR THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM PET ALLERGIES OR ASTHMATIC CONDITIONS - WE HAVE ONE TYPE A CARAVAN DESIGNATED AS SMOKE AND PET FREE. PLEASE ENSURE THIS IS REQUESTED ON BOOKING.

NB: The park is quiet with no entertainment provided, not recommended for teenagers looking for clubs/discos.
Other facilities
Beach immediately adjacent to touring park. Canoes and small boats may be launched from beach.

Well stocked local shop 100 yards from site.
Other recreation
Surfing from nearby Westport beach. Diving with compressed air available locally.
Tourist Attractions
Ferry terminals nearby making it an ideal location for island hopping. The nearest town is Campbeltown 15 miles south with Tarbert (Loch Fyne) 22 miles north.

Davaar Island at the mouth of Campbeltown Harbour, can be approached at low tide (not for the faint hearted) offering seven caves to explore, one with a painted crucifix.

With 5 golf courses nearby, there is plenty to see and do on the peninsula. A Kintyre trail listing activities in the area is sent with every enquiry.
Directions
The site is situated at the south end of Muasdale Village on the main A83.

Caravan Holiday Homes (which over looks the sea) are located on the left, the Touring Park is on the right, next to the beach.
