The site is on the fringe of the village of Braemar, an ideal centre for walkers and mountain bikers. Herds of red dear room freely and you may also glimpse Caper caillie. For some spectacular scenery, take the high road to Tomintoul for a view of the countryside towards the rugged coastline and sea beyond.
