- Set in old quarry workings, this site has been imaginatively Iandcaped to create the impression of being in the heart of the countryside while only a ten-minute bus journey on the Park & Ride (2 mile from site) to the city centre. Guided walking tours are an excellent way of soaking up the academic atmosphere of the medieval colleges and open-top bus tours will take you all around the city and out to the American War Cemetary. Alternatively you can take a punt along The Backs on the River Cam to see colleges like Corpus Christi, Magdelene (pronounced maudlin) and the Bridge of Sighs. A visit to King's College Chapel is a must.
