- Description
- A spacious and calm site with views to the glens. A range of pitches from hardstandings with electricity, water, and grey water drainage, to economy grass pitches without electricity are available. The rally field has a thriving rabbit colony - they come out early morning, evening, and the cheeky one come out during the day too. On Wednesday evenings an archery club come an shoot at targets. Plant lovers will enjoy a browse around the Garden Centre. It specializes in Camellias, which are grown onsite. The original, circular, horse-mill is now a licenced Coffee Shop and Restaurant - it serves breakfasts, light lunches, main meals, and delicious home-baked cakes. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays it stays open longer and serves High Teas. On Saturday nights, an a la carte menu is available from 6.45pm. An ideal touring-base - there's lots to do in the area.

- From Dundee take the A90 towards Aberdeen. After 11 miles take the first turning into Forfar, the A932. In 200yards turn right onto a minor road. Lochlands is the large white building on the corner. Drive in and follow the signs.
