‘The Touring Park in the Heart of the Forest’ continues to be a favourite holiday destination amongst you. The success of our ‘fewer but larger pitches’ has been overwhelming and we are pleased to continue to offer you freedom, peacefulness and ambience, in keeping with The Dower House location, allowing you the feeling of being close to nature and further away from the day to day bustle of everyday life.

There is so much for everyone to do in the area. Why not visit the Thetford Forest Centre, where you can Go Ape!!! For the anglers amongst you there is fishing close by and an Equestrian Centre for those of you who like to ride. The Dower House acts as the perfect base for cyclists, especially in combination with the 30 miles of marked cycle tracks offered at the Thetford Forest Centre
Tourist Attractions
For those wishing to be close to nature the 20 acres of grass land in which the park is set give you plenty to explore. There are walks and cycle paths that lead from the park into the heart of the forest in all directions, allowing the chance of glimpses of deer and other wild life in their natural unspoilt habitat.
Directions
From Thetford take the A1066 east towards Diss. After 5 miles fork left. Signed "East Harling" & "Camping". After 2 miles.the site entrance is on the left. Alternatively, leave Thetford on the A11 towards Norwich. Take off onto the B1111 and head for East Harling. Enter village, pass church on LHS then take next right. At the tee junction an the end of that road turn right. Entrance to the site is after the long straight and on the RHS. See our web site for a printable map.
