Station Road, Gartmore, Aberfoyle, FK8 3RR
Description
Shaded by majestic oak trees and beautifully situated on the banks of the Forth River, Cobleland is a small, family-friendly site. The site attracts wildlife not often seen in other parts of the UK, including red squirrels and the Scottish Wildcat. The site is a good base for exploring the Trossachs National Park and walking and cycling routes are easily accessible from the site. Aberfoyle village is close to the site, with a supermarket and charming places to eat out. Just north of the village, you'll find the David Marshall Lodge, where you can watch live and recorded footage of the local ospreys. Stirling is a twenty-minute drive away, and Glasgow is a little further afield at 45 minutes. There are toilets and shower blocks and dogs are welcome on the site.
