- Description
- A small friendly park set in countryside, 7 miles west of Edinburgh. Excellent amenities with free showers, privacy cubicles, small laundry and disabled facilities. Dogs are welcome and we have lovely walks to Almondell Country Park and the Union Canal. Mostly level grass with some hard standings most with 16amp electric hook-ups. Ideal for visiting Edinburgh, Royal Highland Showground, Linlithgow for history, Livingston for shopping, the Falkirk Wheel and the International Climbing Arena at Ratho. Also, well placed for touring further afield. Try our new Timbertents for a warm and dry alternative to camping. Call in on your way north or south, or stay awhile - you will be most welcome.

- All the sights in Edinburgh - the Castle, Palace, Britannia, the Zoo etc. as well as the famous Tattoo and Festival in August. There are excellent Park and Rides on the A71 and at Ingliston(Airport) on the A8 for quick and easy access to Edinburgh, with free and safe parking - motorhomes welcome. Livingston's new undercover shopping centre, The Centre, the Forth Bridge, the Royal Highland Showground and the International Climbing Arena at Ratho are all closeby, while Linlithgow and the Falkirk Wheel are a short journey along the M9 and Rosslyn Chapel just round the City Bypass. Edinburgh Airport is just 10 minutes away.
