- Description
- Hawthorne is nestled neatly at Middleton Sands, close to the shores of Morecambe Bay this small and friendly park offers a peaceful hideaway located in the pleasant countryside of the Heysham peninsula and only a few hundred yards from the sandy beach.
This is a small secluded park with a small bar in the heart of the park which retains a “village pub” atmosphere, a cosy place where you can socialise and relax with friends.
The beautiful village of Heysham is close by and Morecambe, with its lively markets, pubs and restaurants is only 10 minutes drive away. In the immediate area you can enjoy golf, fishing, horse riding, swimming and much more.
The historic town of Lancaster is only 5 miles away and Preston, Kendal and the Lake District are all within easy travelling distance. Hawthorne allows you as an owner to enjoy maximum use of your holiday home, so whatever your intentions, whether it is for a weekend retreat, or maybe perhaps even sharing your leisure time between here and abroad, Hawthorne could be the perfect place for your holiday home.
Hawthorne offers complete privacy and relaxation, a perfect location to escape with the family. - Tourist Attractions

Take a family holiday to Morecambe Bay for the ideal seaside holiday...
Family holidays should be all about having fun! In Morecambe, an extensive year round programme of special events and festivals ensures that the fun never stops. Morecambe still retains its olde world charm, with miles of unspoilt coastline and spectacular views of the Lakeland Fells.
On the newly renovated promenade proudly stands the lifesize bronze statue of Mr Eric Morecambe, who loved the town so much he named himself after it! Seaside holidays hold a special place in our hearts, childhood memories, your favourite bucket and spade, fresh clean air and golden sands.....
Morecambe and Lancaster’s many shops, market days, cosmopolitan cafés and grand architecture will keep your days filled with things to do. Whether you have a passion for paintings or porcelain, clothing or cookware, food or furniture you can really indulge yourself!
