Description
Sŵn y Môr Caravan & Touring Site is one of the premier caravan sites in Wales. It offers excellent family facilities with an indoor swimming pool and spa, outdoor paddling pool, family club and bar - featuring cabaret and live entertainment in the evenings. Outdoor play areas for the kids, arcade machines and children's entertainment keep your kids happy for hours and with a laundrette and shop - it's all onsite. The hugely popular Glan y Môr Leisure and Bowling Centre is open to Sŵn y Môr Caravan & Touring Park caravan site guests and owners at reduced rates.
It's a great place to own a static caravan holiday home in Wales. Whether you are hiring, caravan touring or camping, we are totally committed to making your stay enjoyable at one of the most tranquil caravan sites Wales has to offer.
Tourist Attractions
For the fit and keen holidaymaker there is a very pleasant (but challenging) cliff-edge costal walk between Aberystwyth and Borth. Sŵn y Môr itself nestles between safe sandy beaches and dunes on one side, a lovely links golf course and is surrounded by a national bird and nature reserve.
There's plenty to see and do. Our on-site leisure facilities, and those at nearby Glan y Môr, keep everyone entertained whatever the weather.
Locally, Borth Animalarium is a ‘hands-on' Snake and Petting Barn with animal feeding for domestic, farm and exotic animals. Additionally, there are Pony Rides in the summer and a kiddies indoor ball pool. The Vale of Rheidol steam railway at Aberystwyth and the Talyllyn Railway, at nearby Tywyn, are both spectacular, while the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, is a living community dedicated to developing sustainable technology.
