- "Venture out to our most northerly Site"
Stay at Inverewe Gardens in June and you are so far north, you’ll enjoy extra hours of daylight. Otters and seals swim in the waters of Loch Ewe and the hills of Wester Ross rise behind it, while the sunsets have to be seen to be believed. - Tourist Attractions
- Inverewe is warmed by waters from the Gulf Stream - visit the amazing subtropical gardens created here in the 19th century. Some all-weather pitches available.
More beauty can be found at Osgood Mackenzie’s Inverewe Gardens, a few minutes’ walk from the site. Established over 100 years ago, the gardens are home to sub-tropical plants courtesy of the North Atlantic Drift.
Poolewe village is a five-minute walk from the site, while nearby Gairloch has a Heritage Museum showing life from prehistoric times to the present day , and Marine Life Centre offering daily cruises to survey dolphins, whales and seals. For a unique souvenir, you can also create your own scent at Scotland’s only working perfume studio at Mellon Charles.
