- Description
- "Close to the centre of the university city"
Just over a mile from the city centre, our Oxford Club Site is the perfect base for visiting the beautiful university city. Bring your bike, take advantage of the excellent public transport or simply enjoy the time to walk.
Please note this is a city centre site and can be noisy at times. - Tourist Attractions
- Oxford has a wealth of attractions, including a variety of museums and Oxford Castle, which recounts the history of four centuries of prison life in the city. The university is made up of a number of colleges – Christ Church even has its own cathedral – and also has a Botanic Garden.
As well as walking the city, you can follow the Thames Path to Abingdon, which continues to Long Whitenham and the Pendon Indoor Model Village and Railways. Further afield, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens is in 160 acres of parkland and Blenheim Palace features gardens, courtyards and parks by landscape artist Capability Brown.
