"Look out to sea from this Somerset hillside"
Close to both the beautiful sandy beaches of the Exmoor Heritage Coast and the wilderness of the Exmoor National Park, our Club Site at Minehead has wonderful sea views. The lovely location unfortunately makes it unsuitable for caravans. - Tourist Attractions
- The site is a mile and half from Minehead town, Somerset’s largest seaside resort, which has a long sandy beach and a variety of shops and restaurants. It is also the terminus of the West Somerset Steam Railway, which travels through twenty miles of stunning coastal and countryside scenery.
Minehead is also the starting point for the South West Coast path, a long-distance trail that travels 630 miles around the coast to Poole. Shorter walks area available in Exmoor National Park – a good place to start is the Visitor Centre at Dunster. The mediaeval town is also home to a castle that dates back to 1086.
